Hi, Iām Daniel
I am a tattoo artist and muralist based in the Blue Mountains, working from a private tattoo space in Katoomba, I specialise in intentional tattoos and murals that tell your personal story.
Originally from the Blue Mountains in NSW, Australia, my creative journey began as a dedicated teen, expressing myself through graffiti. This passion later evolved into large-scale mural art. After achieving a successful career in this industry, I sought a new challenge and moved to the Northern Rivers, NSW to learn from Mark Nara in his intentional tattoo studio. This apprenticeship was an opportunity to learn about the energetics, application and deeper responsibilities of tattooing.
After a couple years working alongside Mark, the studio was unfortunately flooded and had to close, prompting a new chapter in my journey. I was fortunate to join the talented team at The Hammer and Quill whilst still maintaining my teachings from Mark.
I have now returned to the Sydney/Blue Mountains region after years of study, allowing me to refocus on intentional tattooing and mural art, bringing my creative vision back to where it all began.
My craft is rooted in the belief that tattoos transcend self-expression. Each piece I create is intentional, understanding that each tattoo is embed with a unique and personal story. By listening to my clients' I transform their visions and experiences into visual art, adorning their bodies with imagery that symbolise their journey and direction.
My mural art process incorporates a variety of styles a mediums, including aerosol and paint, to create unique textures and vibrant designs. My work blends the spontaneity of graffiti with the precision of tattooing, resulting in pieces that are both visually striking and personally significant.

An intentional tattoo is a deeply personal and meaningful experience that begins with a desire to mark one's body for a specific reason. I approach this process by listening attentively to your story, relaying it back to you for observation, often over a cup of tea. I aim to create a space that meets your needs, whether it's a light-hearted or profound experience, recognizing that the act of marking your body is always significant.

No, you don't have to do anything you're not comfortable with. However, every tattoo is intentional in its own right, as every moment in life is significant, to one degree or another. So what does this time represent for you? What's your story, so we can honour it through your tattoo?

I do not claim to be a healer, shaman, or therapist. My focus is on providing a clean and calm environment, where I listen attentively and translate your story into meaningful art. My approach is deeply influenced by the guidance and teachings of my mentor, Mark Nara, who generously shares a lineage of knowledge and wisdom.
